Yesterday, November 27, the four Finalist Teams of the HackingBullipedia Challenge (Authorship Reputation and Trust (ART), Huevo, Digital Olfaction and Gustation, and KEMLg) had the opportunity to present and discuss their proposals with the Jury of the Contest, formed by top technologists, innovators and chefs, including Ferran Adrià and Pablo Rodriguez, Director of Research at Telefónica Digital.
After the great pitch session, the jury final decision was unveiled and, once again, there was a big surprise: the jury decided to award two teams!!
The winners of this 1st Edition of the Global HackingBullipedia Challenge are:
- Huevo Team with the Huevo Programming Language Proposal (Francisco Gonzalez-Blanch and Pilar Fernandez, Independent Team, Madrid)
- KEMLg Team with the Genesis Proposal (Karina Gibert, Javier Vázquez, Beatriz Sevilla, Sergio Álvarez, Arturo Tejeda, Luis Oliva, Ignasi Gómez-Sebastià, Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona)
As winners both teams will now have the opportunity to work with Telefónica’s research department and the elBulliFoundation Team in Barcelona to help turn their concept into a reality. And, at Adrià ‘s request, the two runner-up teams will also continue working with the Bullipedia project.
THANK you ALL (winners, finalists, participants) for Being Part of It!
